Today’s Mantra: “Extreme resilience.” Two days ago, I had a conversation with one of my BFFs in which she disclosed that she was feeling a constant low grade “blue.” She blamed the events of the world. That night, by chance, I started reading Gregg Braden’s newest book, “Resilience from the Heart,” in which he discusses the fact that we are living in extreme times and the world is in crisis: financial systems are collapsing, climate change is wrecking havoc, war is destabilizing the world etc…. these are indeed extreme times. It is our extreme resilience of the heart that will help this world transition into a place we all want to live. Every time we show resilience in our hearts — every time we combat dejection with compassion, every time we use a failure to open new doors, every time we reach for love rather than hate — the dramas of the macrocosm play out in our little microcosm. It’s the law of critical mass: when enough of us acting with resilience of the heart in our little microcosms, the macrocosm will shift and the world will brighten. So to my friend I would say, don’t be blue, be joyful and practice extreme resilience. ‪#‎namaste‬ ‪#‎girdthewill‬‪#‎greggbraden‬ ‪#‎yoga‬ ‪#‎yogaeveryday‬ ‪#‎yogaeverydamnday‬ ‪#‎raisethevibration‬‪#‎freedomseeke
